Authorities believe she was kidnapped from her home in the Tucson, Arizona, area. According to some developments, investigators discovered drops of blood on Nancy Guthrie's porch; however, recovered a glove roughly two miles away from the home.

It is pertinent to mention that this glove, similar to one worn by a suspect, was captured on security video on the night of her disappearance. Investigators later cleared the evidence after discovering that the DNA actually belonged to a restaurant worker rather than the abductor.

Savannah’s family has been continuously sharing updates and appealing to the public for crucial information. They are offering a $1 million reward for any information leading to her mother’s recovery.

In a tearful March interview with co-host Hoda Kotb, Guthrie detailed the family’s deep emotional pain, describing the situation as “unbearable” and said: Someone needs to do the right thing. We are in agony. We are in agony. It is unbearable, “And to think of what she went through. I wake up every night in the middle of the night, every night.”

Guthrie added: “And in the darkness, I imagine her terror. And it is unthinkable, but those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face. But she needs to come home now.”

In another interview Guthrie said: “I would like “to try” returning to work, saying: “I don’t know if I can do it … I don’t know if I’ll belong anymore, but I would like to try. I would like to try.”

Guthrie shared her feelings with fans stating: “You guys have been so beautiful … I’ve received so many letters, so much kindness to me and my whole family. We feel it. We feel your prayers. So, thank you so much.”

Nancy Guthrie’s case remains unsolved; however, investigators are still waiting on lab results to ensure they identify the correct suspect.

Furthermore, public confidence has waned as critics voice concerns over early accidental blunders in the investigation.
