Sir Ringo Starr has teamed up with WaterAid to launch limited-edition merchandise to mark World Ocean Day on 8 June.

The Beatles star is helping to raise vital funds for the international charity, and awareness of the global water crisis. It's an issue close to his heart, that he has championed for many years.

A pop-art portrait of Starr, featuring his signature moustache and glasses, adorns a range of clothes and accessories including T shirts, hoodies and tote bags.

"Clean water is a human right and everyone, everywhere should have it," the Octopus's Garden song-writer explained.

"That's why I support WaterAid and this exclusive design, available on a range of merchandise for a limited time only. The money raised will go towards their clean water projects around the world. Real change starts with water, together we can make a difference. Peace, love and water."

This comes after Sir Ringo Starr recently released his first official duet with Paul McCartney, Home to Us, the second single from McCartney's album The Boys of Dungeon Lane.

He is also back in the studio with T Bone Burnett, and plans to release another album in 2026 following the success of his country album, Look Up, which was released earlier this year.
