An online debate has begun with a recent interaction between Kim Kardashian and Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle during the Monaco Grand Prix.

Kim was at the Formula 1 event alongside sister Khloé Kardashian, seemingly to support seven-time world champion and rumoured lover Lewis Hamilton.

During his usual grid walk coverage, Brundle approached Kim and introduced himself while asking how she was enjoying the race weekend.

Although Kim briefly smiled, she did not respond to his questions and continued speaking with Khloé as security surrounded the pair.

The moment became more awkward when Brundle appeared to clash with Kim’s security team while trying to continue the interview attempt.

After receiving no response, the broadcaster eventually admitted defeat on-air, saying the sisters were “not talking today.”

The exchange quickly went viral online, with many social media users criticising Kim’s behaviour and calling the interaction “rude” and “disrespectful”.

Others defended the reality star, arguing she was under no obligation to speak during the event and may not have heard Brundle properly amid the noise on the grid.

Kim’s appearance at the Grand Prix comes months after speculation first emerged linking her romantically to Hamilton. However, neither Kim nor Hamilton has publicly confirmed the relationship.
