As 2026 is halfway through, Hollywood has finally seen its first film cross the $1 billion mark at the box office.
It is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
Released in April, the movie is in its 10th weekend in cinemas.
Domestically, the movie hauled in a whopping $428.5 million, and overseas, it drew in a massive $571.5 million.
