Will Angelina Jolie reconcile with Jon Voight before leaving America?

Jon Voight is said to be hoping to mend his strained relationship with daughter Angelina Jolie before she leaves Los Angeles.

Insiders revealed that as Jolie is preparing to relocate abroad once her youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, reach adulthood.

The source told Radar Online, "Jon and Angelina barely speak or see each other these days. It's been that way for many years now but it's not for lack of effort on his part."

Adding, "He still checks in with birthday and holiday messages, asking about the kids and praying that one day they'll be able to put their differences aside and spend quality time together."

While they reconciled before, she cut him off again "after he spoke to the press about her and her children, which proves how seriously she protects her privacy."

Meanwhile, the sources reveal their political differences also sparked tensions, noting, "He's a proud supporter of President Donald Trump as well as a staunch defender of Israel."

On the other hand, Jolie is an unabashed liberal. "It breaks his heart that he hasn't built a meaningful relationship with the grandkids, but more than anything, he misses Angie desperately and so this move is hitting him hard."
