Robert Pattinson explains why critics were wrong about his Batman body
Robert Pattinson is finally hitting back at critics as the sequel to Batman is set to shoot
When Robert Pattinson stepped into the Batman role. Some questioned his physique.
A few even mocked him for not being 'bulky' enough for the Caped Crusader role.
Now, Robert Pattinson is clapping back at critics.
In an interview with GQ, he said he had been working out twice a day to prepare for the role.
“[Everyone was like], ‘You didn’t work out at all.’ I worked out every f***** day," he hit back.
“Even after that, I still look like I didn’t work out," the actor quipped.
"I worked out twice a day at, like, three o’clock in the morning," Pattinson shared his fitness schedule.
"I’m like, It’s just because I said it in an interview [once that exercise was uncool]. I was trying to sound cool!”
As The Batman sequel gears up for production, Pattinson seems to have a problem: he has no idea when filming will begin.
In what appears to be a casual manner, he said a stunt coordinator recently told the production could involve "11 weeks of nights."
Pattinson's response was, "I’m like, ‘Excuse me?’ I’m like, ‘No one’s even sent me a schedule.'"
In the meantime, The Batman: Part II was delayed previously.
But as the schedule is reportedly in place, the makers dropped a first look at 'Batmobile' as a tease earlier.
