'Love Island' star Ariana Madix gets her 'dream job'

Ariana Madix recently named the one thing that makes her feel “luxurious” in her Love Island suitcase.

The 40-year-old American television personality, actress, and businesswoman chatted with PEOPLE magazine and opened up about the one travel essential she keeps with her as she hosts the famous reality television series.

Madix told the outlet, "I pack a lot of workout stuff. I've started bringing some of my own workout equipment, like resistance bands. Things like that."

She added, "I definitely bring some bathing suits. I bring a lot of clothes that I can wear to set, so when I'm in glam I can be comfortable, and then I have something comfy to put on afterwards."

"I bring a ton of different sheet masks. They're easy to pack, they don't weigh a lot, and then I feel nice and luxurious," the Vanderpump Rules alum explained with a confession.

Madix, who first hosted Love Island USA season 6 in 2024, went on to share her hosting experience.

The Dancing with the Stars dancer said, "Honestly, being the host of Love Island is something that I think I would've talked about in my living room with my friends as a dream job I would love to have.”

“When I got the job, I don't know that I would have expected what happened with the show to happen."

"The show really took off in a different way than it had before, and to be able to say that — not only am I the host of my favorite show, but I'm also the host of the number-one show in all of streaming, scripted or unscripted — that's something I'm very, very proud to be a part of," she noted.

It is pertinent to mention that Ariana Madix first appeared on Love Island as a guest in 2023.
