'The Walking Dead' star announces engagement

The Walking Dead alum Katelyn Nacon just got engaged!

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the actress announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Xavier Jimenez.

Sharing a close-up-photo of her diamond ring, Katelyn simply wrote in the caption: "5/28/26."

Meanwhile, Xavier also posted shots of his now-fiancée's stunning ring with the same caption.

The duo received love from fans who flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.

One wrote, "Whaaaaaaaat!? This was a well kept secret in the Bahamas!!!"

"AHHHHHH CONGRATULATIONS!!!" another added.

"Yes yes yes you cuties!!! Soooo excited for you!!!!" the third comment read.

On the other hand, Madison Litz also took to Stories and reshared her The Walking Dead costar's post, writing, "MY BEST BUDDY IS ENGAGED."

It is pertinent to mention that Katelyn and Xavier recently attended Madison's wedding together, which took plays on May 23 in Bahamas. Katelyn and Xavier Jimenez were first linked in 2021.

The actress played the role of Enid on season 5 through 9 of The Walking Dead. The actress' character's journey ended in one of the most shocking death scenes.

Speaking of her final day on set, Katelyn previously called it "a long day."

"We went in very early to get makeup done and everything so that we could kind of get a visual or video of our faces to kind of imprint on the head. And then we took that all off and got ready to spend our last moments fighting together. It was a lot of fun and we got to say our goodbyes and everything. Honestly, for a last day, I had a great time. It was a lot of fooling around and joking, like it is every day," she shared.
