Shay Mitchell fears 'wrinkles' ahead of family's plans for summer
Shay Mitchell opens up about her family's plans for summer and why she does not want to go to one specific place
Shay Mitchell has laid bare her summer plans with family, revealing why she is avoiding the beach this year.
In a talk with PEOPLE magazine, the 39-year-old Canadian actress and entrepreneur shared that the shooting of the Baywatch reboot has occupied her these days, but she will take time out for her family vacation.
At the Fox Upfront in New York City on May 11, Mitchell told the outlet, "My summer plans are honestly probably going to just be traveling with my family.”
"We're shooting a lot in L.A., which I feel very fortunate to be able to be doing, so I can put my girls to sleep when I come home some nights. But my summer plans are probably just getting on a plane and traveling, probably somewhere where there isn't a beach,” she explained.
The Pretty Little Liars star went on to admit that her Baywatch role will somewhat be affected by her travel plans, quipping, "I'll still have the wrinkles from the water."
Mitchell, who welcomed two daughters, Atlas, 6, and Rome, 4, with her longtime partner, Matte Babel, is playing the role of Trina in the Baywatch reboot. Trina is a lawyer who leaves a big firm to become a full-time lifeguard.
It is pertinent to mention that the Baywatch reboot television series will premiere on Fox in late January 2027 and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
