Drake gets dissed by ex-friend over 'fake numbers' jab
Criticism toward Drake comes as he releases several albums at once
Drake is riding on the success of his several new albums, including Iceman.
Several charts and other indicators say the Canadian rapper is dominating the music scene with new releases.
However, Rick Ross, who was once a close collaborator, is convinced it is untrue.
Appearing on the PBD Podcast, he was asked, "Did you listen to Iceman?"
The Lamborghini rapper bluntly stated, "It was horrendous." My homies actually sat there; they lost an hour of their life."
He also slammed the promotion by Drake for the Iceman by putting ice blocks in Toronto.
"People put ice blocks in the middle of places and promoted and marketed."
"And the world knew what day it was coming out, and then it came out and, really, you know, folded."
Then the host asked a key question, "Do you put Drake at your level?"
In a dismissing way, Ross replied, "No. You might be confused with all of the fake numbers; that's nothing."
"If Drake were what he thought he was, he would've been able to clear all this up, address it, and have moved on," he concluded.
