Kiefer Sutherland makes 'devastating' announcement about 'Love Will Bring You Home' tour
Kiefer Sutherland cancels the U.S leg of his 'Love Will Bring You Home' tour
Kiefer Sutherland has canceled the U.S leg of his Love Will Bring You Home tour due to "very low ticket sales."
“With great disappointment I am going to have to cancel the US leg of my tour due to very low ticket sales,” the 59-year-old actor penned on his Instagram account on Friday.
“I don’t think it’s fair to the people who have bought tickets, or the venues, to play to have empty houses,” continued Kiefer. “I look forward to touring the United States again at a more suitable time.”
“I hope you understand," the Lost Boys star concluded.
As soon as he made the announcement, some fans expressed their disappointment while others praised the actor's honesty.
“I really appreciate your honesty and the fact that you don’t use illness as an excuse. That makes you even more likeable," one person penned.
“100% a money issue and definitely not lack of popularity. People are struggling to buy basic things to live right now," another one chimed in,
“And this is why the European Tours are always the best," quipped a third one.
“Just play smaller venues for your true fans. Would love to see you play!” suggested a fourth one.
