John Travolta stuns everyone at the 2026 Cannes with shocking new look
John Travolta arrived at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival for his directorial debut
John Travolta was expected at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. But when he made his entry, everyone was in awe.
In a slouchy, cream-coloured wool beret and black suit, the Pulp Fiction star gave an unrecognisable look.
Inside the suit, he was wearing a white shirt and tie over a knit vest, leaving fans surprised.
Travolta was accompanied by his daughter Ella, who was in a black gown.
At Cannes, the Grease star was there for his directorial debut, Propeller One-Way Night Coach.
But then, a surprise hit Travolta: an honorary Palme d’Or.
The actor was fighting back tears in his acceptance speech, according to reports.
“This is beyond the Oscars," he said, adding, “I can’t believe this. This is the last thing I expected."
Pointing to Cannes director Thierry Frémaux, Travolta said, “You said this would be a special night, but I didn’t think you meant this."
The actor continued, “When I met with you in November, I had no expectation that my film would be accepted."
“And when Thierry said it was not only accepted, but it was making history because it would be the first film ever accepted that early, I cried like a baby because I just couldn’t believe it," he concluded.
Propeller One-Way Night Coach will premiere on Apple TV on May 29.
