Conan O'Brien is all set to return as host for the Oscars in 2027, his third consecutive time.
On Tuesday, May 12, the Emmy Award-winning television star was confirmed as the emcee of the 99th Oscars in 2027.
The comedian has hosted the award show two times in a row and during his inaugural year, the ceremony garnered over 19 million viewers, marking the event's highest viewership in five years.
President of Disney Television Group Craig Erwich gushed over Conan saying, "Conan has created remarkable energy around ‘The Oscars'."
The statement continued, “His singular comedic voice makes Hollywood's biggest night one of the most entertaining celebrations of the year.
"We're proud to welcome him back and look forward to what he and the producing team deliver next.”
The Oscar 2027 is scheduled to take place on March 14, 2027, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
Along with Conan, Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan are also returning as producers for the fourth time.
Raj and Katy also hailed Conan, calling his hosting "really special" in a joint statement.
“He's a true creative partner, someone we trust completely, and someone who makes the whole process genuinely fun, both behind the scenes and on stage. We're incredibly grateful to keep building this together and can't wait to share what's next.”
