Britney Spears reflects on 'higher consciousness' in cryptic 'snake' post
The singer opened up about healing journey after recent DUI drama
Britney Spears is taking a moment to reflect on close bonds she made over years with an adorable snap of a "beautiful baby snake."
On Sunday morning, the Toxic singer took to her Instagram account and posted a touching note expressing her gratitude to "new beautiful people" she met during her "spiritual journey" while describing the symbolism behind snakes.
”Went to the pet store with my kids and look at what what a beautiful baby snake this is… snakes are symbolic of good health, higher consciousness, and pure luck…," she began.
The Grammy winner went on to gush over the gifts she got over the past years amid her healing journey, "I’m so damn thankful to my friends and so many new beautiful people I have met through my spiritual journey…all a blessing in disguise…"
However, Britney admitted there is still room for learning more. She added, "I still have to learn how to be kind to myself and the way I speak to myself… It’s a never ending journey and sometimes I just stop, look up and say wow God I think that was you and smile on!!!!
In the picture, Britney posted along with the thoughtful post, she appears to be holding an albino ball python recognizable by its distinct lack of dark pigmentation, resulting in vivid yellow and white patterning.
This came after Britney's recent DUI drama, after she was taken into custody back in March by Ventura County Highway Patrol officers for driving under the influence.
As per the recent development of the case, she has been charged with a lesser offense due to her no-DUI history and she cut a deal to avoid prison time by pleading guilty.
Though there will be no prison time, the Criminal hitmaker is set to face a probation of 12 months as well as mandatory classes for DUI.
