Blake Lively makes buzz at 2026 Met Gala after ending legal battle with Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively's legal battle with 'It Ends with Us' director and co-star Justin Baldoni reached settlement on May 4, 2026
Blake Lively turned heads at the 2026 Met Gala after settling her It Ends With Us lawsuit with Justin Baldoni.
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute's annual fashion event on Monday, May 4, Lively appeared in an archival Atelier Versace number from spring 2006.
Shedding light on the 38-year-old American actress’ look for this year’s “Costume Art” theme, Donatella Versace told Vogue, “Blake looks stunning in archive Atelier Versace.”
Lively “has had so many iconic Versace moments at the Met, and tonight is no exception,” Versace remarked.
To prove that “Fashion is Art," the Gossip Girl star’s Atelier Versace gown was in pastel colours with three-dimensional architectural elements inspired by 18th-century Venetian Rococo paintings.
The draped bodice that hugged the body closely, making it feel like it moved on the body like liquid, was filled with gemstones in corals, lilacs, yellows, peaches, and powdery pink shades.
In 2022, Lively last attended Met Gala, where she also and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, also served as a co-chair.
It is pertinent to mention that The Shallows star’s attorneys, Esra Hudson and Michael Gottlieb, released a joint statement with Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios lawyers, Ellyn Garofalo and Bryan Freedman, in which they announced that both stars had settled their legal battle, which started in December 2024.
