Alex Cooper faces growing strain with husband Matt Kaplan

Alex Cooper and her husband Matt Kaplan are said to be facing challenges in their marriage.

Insiders have revealed that the tensions between the couple have escalated in recent months, according to the Daily Mail.

It has been reported that Cooper and Kaplan are not sharing the same bedroom, a sign that strain may be building behind the scenes.

Notably, the marriage issues began even before allegations surrounding Kaplan's behavior at the couple's production company, Unwell Network, surfaced.

The source said, "Matt fully courted Alex and was so sweet with her in the beginning."

"Once they moved in together, that’s when things changed," they added.

Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan got engaged in March 2023 and tied the knot in Mexico in April 2024. The pair co-founded their trending media company and its Unwell Network subsidiary.

The source told the outlet, "Those close to Alex wondered why she got engaged so quickly before the Unwell deal was done."

"Now they see it. Matt is too intertwined with Unwell," they added.

Furthermore, the insider noted, "Matt pushes her to do things in her business. She doesn’t have a manager. Matt is always in the room. Everything goes through Matt."

However, Cooper is said to be struggling with the fallout from accusations against her husband. "This is Alex Cooper’s biggest fear: bad press."

"It matters to her. She wants to control the narrative, always. She is insecure and cutthroat all in one. She really doesn’t have that many friends," the source said.
