Chris Brown at home? Street drama explodes into gunfire outside rapper L.A. pad
Police have pressed charges for shooting outside Chris Brown's mansion
Outside Chris Brown's mansion in Los Angeles, gunfire took place, which rocked the the rapper's neighbourhood on Friday.
Police scrambled to the location, according to TMZ, near 4 pm after receiving a frantic call from a woman describing what unfolded in front of the Loyal hitmaker's home.
In the panic call, the woman alleged she had a heated argument with a Black man in his 30s, who fired at her vehicle after the dispute spiraled.
The man, on the other hand, told a different story.
When the cops arrived, he told them it was actually the woman who refused to leave the area, which, in turn, triggered a tense confrontation.
In response, the woman allegedly drove her car over his foot, prompting him to fire at the vehicle.
Despite the two contrasting stories, police have so far charged the person with assault with a weapon and vandalism, and also detained him.
It is immediately unclear whether Brown was at home when shots rang out or if he shares any connection with either or both of the people involved.
