Emily Blunt calls Anne Hathaway a ‘great dance partner’ while filming sequel ‘The Devil Wears Prada’
Emily Blunt has opened up about her experience working with Anne Hathaway while filming the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada.
The Hollywood star described her co-star as a “great dance partner” on set, adding that working with Hathaway has always been enjoyable because of her spontaneous and flexible approach to scenes.
The British actress, who is reprising her role as Emily Charlton in The Devil Wears Prada 2, also noted that the original 2006 film remains one of the most memorable experiences of her career.
In an interview with Extra, she said, "I feel like the first one, I have lasting, very, very prominent memories of it and such an informative time in my life.”
"I love working with Annie because she's a great dance partner in scenes. She's very spontaneous. She'll sort of go with whatever you want to do,” she added.
Blunt with reunite with the cast of the first film, including Stanley Tucci and Meryl Steep.
Speaking on his starring in the sequel, Tucci said, "I've been doing this for 45 years and to be able to have that same core group of people together after 20 years is kind of amazing.”
"People would come up to us over the years and say, ‘I love that movie' and you saw how much people watch it.”
