Kelly Ripa makes bombshell confession about pregnancy after 23 years
Kelly Ripa opens up about how she got pregnant years after welcoming her three children with husband Mark Consuelos
Kelly Ripa recently got candid and talked about her pregnancy 23 years after welcoming her youngest child.
For those unaware, Kelly and her husband Mark Consuelos tied the knot in 1996 after their first interaction on the set of their soap opera All My Children.
The couple welcomed three children together, Michael Joseph Consuelos, Lola Consuelos, and Joaquin Antonio Joaquin. They are now 28, 24, and 23-year-old, respectively.
On the latest episode of her morning show LIVE with Kelly & Mark, Mark read aloud a fan’s question, "Should we wear underwear all the time?"
Responding to the question, the mother of three said, “Yes.”
One viewer shared their point of stating that it is crucial to "air [everything] out," which made Kelly disagree and she jokingly said, "No, no, I'm not airing anything out. No, I don't want to air it all out. I got pregnant at least twice that way."
"I sleep in metal britches — metallic britches with a code. You have to scan your eye [to open them],” the Sharknado 2 star quipped.
It is pertinent to mention that, as Kelly and Mark have well-established careers in the world of entertainment, their kids are following the footsteps of their parents.
After serving as production assistant on The Goldbergs, Michael is currently associated with the production team of Bravo’s reality television shows The Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Real Housewives of New York.
Lola is actively establishing herself in the music industry, as she performed at her debut show in Washington on December 12, 2025, while Joaquin is preparing to play Colby in the forthcoming Hulu series Foster Dade.
