K-pop star Mark Lee announces exit from NCT after 10 years

Mark Lee left the K-pop world in shock as he announced his departure from the boy band, NCT.
The 27-year-old K-pop singer announced his departure by sharing an emotional note on social media on Friday, April 3.
In his Instagram post, Mark expressed gratitude to his fans for the support he’s received throughout his career.
“Out of all the things my heart wants to say right now, I truly wish to say thank you,” he began. "Thank you for loving, supporting, and shaping me to become who I am today. "
Reflecting on the toughest decision, Mark described it as “not a closing door but rather an opening of a new one."
"I will never forget the pieces of love and truth each and every Czennie gave me… I’m not playing here, and I am for sure not playing with your guys’ hearts," he continued.
Mark also promised to work hard moving forward and to make his journey meaningful.
“I’m truly always thinking about you guys and I’ll really be working very, very hard to make it all make sense,” the rapper shared.
Concluding his message, Mark added, “Love you all so much… See you.”
