Demi Lovato opens up about cooking for her husband
Demi Lovato spills on the dish she loves to cook for her husband
Demi Lovato has shared a glimpse into her personal life as she opened up about what she loves to cook for her husband, Jordan Lutes, also known as Jutes.
Speaking with People Magazine, Lovato said a version of popular Marry Me Chicken holds a special meaning to their relationship.
The dish, which she has reimagined as Honeymoon Chicken in her debut cookbook One Plate at a Time: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food, was one of the first meals she prepared for Lutes.
She said, "One of the first few dishes that I made for my now husband was 'Marry Me Chicken.' He loved [it], so in my cookbook, we actually have 'Honeymoon Chicken,' which is a spin on 'Marry Me Chicken'."
Lovato went on to note that the dish has been "particularly healing" for her.
"He helps me in the kitchen, and we'll make a night of it where I'll make him do all the chopping and I'll do all the rest. And I don't make him — he offers, which is really sweet," the songstress added of their date nights.
Moreover, she also revealed that Lutes "always cleans up after I cook, which is really sweet."
"It's really special. It's a nice time to bond and you get something delicious out of it," she added.
Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes or Jutes tied the knot in May 2025. She previously told the outlet that she loves her husband "more and more" every day.
