Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attending Oscars 2026?

Top names in Hollywood will gather on Sunday to hand out the annual Academy Awards at a red-carpet ceremony brimming with an unusual amount ​of drama in the major races.

As the people eagerly wait for the glittering ceremony, royal fans are wondering whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend Oscar.

While Harry and Meghan's have given no hints of attending Academy Awards, royal fans loyal to King Charles and Prince William are already preparing to call it a snub as part  of their social media campaign against the US-based couple.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have responded through their spokesperson to an excerpt of a new book published in The Times on March 13 from author Tom Bower. 

Bower’s newest biography, Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family, focuses on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in some chapters, including the newly published article.

In their statement, the couple’s rep criticized Bower’s fixation on the Sussexes, saying his work foments “deranged conspiracy.”

“Mr. Bower’s commentary has long crossed the line from criticism into fixation,” the spokesperson told People. 

“This is someone who has publicly stated, ‘the monarchy in fact depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life,’ language that speaks for itself.”
