Dolly Parton 'saved' Miley Cyrus from near death tragedy
How Dolly Parton helped Miley Cyrus survive her wild years
Miley Cyrus was reportedly been "saved" by Dolly Parton during her darkest times.
While Cyrus has always credited her grandmother, the country music icon for helping her through some of the darkest times in her life, insiders now claim that the Flowers hitmaker could've faced "drug death" if Parton wasn't there to pull her back.
The source told Radar Online, "There was a period when Miley Cyrus was living extremely hard, and people around her genuinely feared the trajectory she was on. Looking back now, some believe it almost felt inevitable that she might overdose if something didn't change."
They went on to add, "That's why Dolly Parton's presence mattered so much. She was never judgmental, but she was honest and direct."
Sources revealed that Parton gave the Hannah Montana star the love only "someone who truly cares can deliver," noting that people close to Miley Cyrus believe her grandmother's influence "helped pull her back from a dangerous edge and ultimately saved her from what could have been a drug death."
It is pertinent to mention that after years of ups and downs with drugs, Miley Cyrus chose sobriety in 2020 and has since focused on her career and personal growth.
Miley Cyrus still credits Dolly Parton's wisdom and support as one of the key reasons she navigated early fame.
