Ray J faces fresh lawsuit amid ongoing legal battle with Kim Kardashian's

Ray J finds himself in legal trouble as American Express takes him to court.

According to TMZ, the famous American R&B singer is being sued by AmEx for owing the tens of thousands of dollar and breaching the contract.

In the legal documents obtained by the outlet, American Express asked a judge to award the company $78,704.56, as he has not yet returned the balance on a credit card.

In addition, AmEx has sued Rajun Cajun Inc. because of the business’ ties with Ray J; however, it is still not clear how the corporation is linked with him.

Insiders close to the Another Day in Paradise crooner told the same outlet that he is planning to clear the debt.

It is noteworthy to mention that Ray J has a record of missing payments and American Express has dragged him into court quite a few times before.

In December of last year, he was accused of owing company’s $139,849.85 and his company, Tronix Network, was also brought into the legal battle.

Notably, this lawsuit comes amid Ray J’s ongoing legal battle against Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, which started after his intimate tape was deliberately released by the SKIMS founder and her family in 2025.
