King Charles has done ‘everything’ to save Andrew even ‘perverting the course of justice’

There are multiple rumors and insights about King Charles putting in massive efforts towards keeping Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor out of jail, given his friendship and photographs alongside a convicted sex offender.

The whole thing, allegation and all has been issued by royal commentator and biographer Andrew Lownie.

He spoke to Woman’s Day when delivering this insight and pointed out how shocking the entire turn of events is because “they shut the story down,” once Andrew got exposed. “They say they will co-operate with the authorities, but I saw letters going out to protection officers in December, reminding them of their obligations of confidentiality,” he adds.

In Mr Lownie’s eyes “that’s what is shocking – even at this stage, they think they can get away with putting a lid on it. The fact the Palace may have been complicit in perverting the course of justice seems to be a huge story.”

In his view, King Charles needs to step up given all that’s happened. Because of it he’s even gone as far as to say, “I think the King should step down, I think he is compromised, but I don’t think he will.” After all “he’s waited a long time for this job, he’s not going to give it up without a huge fuss.”

However, that is not where the expert concluded because he also offered some pointers about whats being said to King Charles behind the scenes, and how many are expecting him to fall on his sword for Prince William, so that when its his turn to take the throne he has a ‘clean slate’.

In the words of Mr Lownie, “[King Charles’] feeling, I’m told, is that he should be the punchbag to weather all this criticism and he should start introducing reforms, then William can come in with a completely clean slate. But whether Charles has the desire to make these changes, I’m a little cynical.”
