Ashley Tisdale makes major move to protect her peace as mom group drama takes dark turn
Ashley Tisdale, the mother of two daughters, reveals how she stays content as the mom group deepens
Ashle Tisdale has been facing challenges after embracing motherhood but the drama the mom group is filled with is forcing her to take major actions.
The mother of two daughters, Emerson Clover and Jupiter Iris, sat down to pen a new blog about social media on Monday, February 23, and promoted it on her Instagram stories.
Being a notable public figure and having a connection with fans there, Tisdale believes social media is not “meant to live our lives.”
Sitting in bed, wearing comfy clothes and having coffee, the High School Musical alum “wrote about why I take regular breaks—and how much more present I feel when I do.”
She went on to clarify that frequent breaks from social media do not indicate that she is against social media. She enjoys it "in a lot of ways" as "it can be inspiring, funny, and a great way to stay connected."
Also, being a mother and writer demands her to be “fully present—to not be half in a moment" and as consuming content on digial platforms often leaves her asking, "Wait, did I already post today?"
She had stopped living in the moment and become "automatic" when it came to posting content on networking sites but "when I’m off social media, I’m more with my friends, more with my kids, more in the moment. Unsurprisingly, those moments are better when I’m not holding my phone at arm’s length trying to look casual."
It is pertinent to mention that the “sheer volume of information” really “wears out” her brain and that is why a much-needed break gave her a “gift of perspective,” which she "highly" recommends to others.
