Amanda Seyfried hails husband Thomas as 'sweetheart' after his supportive move
The actress also revealed her favorite musical movie at the 31st Critics Choice Awards
Amanda Seyfried is gushing over her husband, Thomas Sadoski for being supportive of her acting career.
The Mean Girl star received nomination for Best Actress at the 31st Critics Choice Awards for her role in The Testament of Ann Lee, and Thomas sent an email to E! News praising Amanda's performance using the phrase "which she did brilliantly" seven times.
Responding to her husband's sweet gesture, Amanda said of Thomas to the outlet, “What a sweetheart.”
“Thank you for doing that," she expressed her gratitude for showing her support for her work.
As for who inspired her acting career, the actress credited director Baz Luhrmanns, “He inspired a lot of why I wanted to be an actor. From Romeo and Juliet. Yes, I'm a big fan," she revealed.
Elsewhere during the conversation, Amanda talked about her love for musicals, “The expression of emotional life through song is just, it enhances every feeling that you have,” she continued. “It just brings you to life in a way, and it brings you in connection to yourself in a way that dialogue might not necessarily be able to do.”
The Housemaid actress further called her her favorite musical movie, Moulin Rouge, an "epic" adding Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor, Baz Luhrmann, always Hats off to what he's been able to accomplish.”
