What to expect from Meghan Markle’s next book
Meghan Markle is expected to write a new book in 2026
Meghan Markle is expected to write a new book, however, despite ongoing rumours of a royal revenge memoir, early signs suggest she will follow a very different path.
According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, the Duchess of Sussex is likely to release a book in 2026.
However, he noted that it is unlikely to be a tell-all memoir, adding that Meghan will steer clear of personal revelations and focus on lifestyle content linked to her brand.
“I believe Meghan will write a book in 2026; however, I don’t think it will be the memoir many of her fans are hoping for,” said Harrold, per The Express.
“While she’s led a really interesting life and has many stories to tell, I don’t think she will want to share them at this point.
“She’s shared her stories and experience in interviews; however, I’m not sure we’ll see a longer, tell-all book,” he continued.
"I think we’ll likely see something that fits with her new lifestyle branding, maybe a cookbook or a written version of her Netflix show sharing tips and tricks.”
Speaking on Jamie Lima's podcast, The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Meghan said she is not ready to write a memoir and prefers to work on hospitality, home, food and entertaining.
“Yes, maybe, for sure. I love, right now, working on everything in the space of hospitality and home and entertaining and food and those sorts of tips,” she said.
“I think people are often curious if I'm going to write a memoir, but I've got a lot more life to live before I'm there."
