Tommy Lee Jones' family has issued an emotional statement following the tragic death of his daughter, Victoria.
“We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers,” the family said in a statement shared with People magazine on Friday.
"Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you," the statement read.
For those unversed, Victoria was found dead early on Thursday, January 1, at the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel. She was 34.
Victoria was the daughter of the Captain America: The First Avenger actor and his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley. The couple also shares son Austin Jones, 43.
Speaking to NBC Bay Area, a police source confirmed that they do not suspect foul play in relation to Victoria's death. However, the real cause of her death has not yet been revealed.
"We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026. Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time," Michelle Heston, director of Fairmont San Francisco press told the outlet.
"The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation," he added.
