George Clooney planning 'secret divorce' from Amal Clooney?

George Clooney is said to be planning a secret divorce from his wife Amal Clooney.

As reported by Radar Online, the actor's latest move of securing French citizenship is part of his divorce plan.

It is believed that George and Amal will receive "legal footing" with the new citizenship for future that could involve parallel lives rather than single shared home.

An insider said, "George is meticulous about thinking ahead and preparing for all possibilities. This is really about flexibility and autonomy."

"If circumstances were ever to shift, the plan would allow him and Amal each to have a base in separate countries without it becoming a public spectacle or an administrative mess," they added. George Clooney and Amal Clooney also share children: twins Ella and Alexander.

Moreover, the spread of properties geographically is also a deliberate move. "You have France, Italy, the UK, New York and Kentucky in the mix, and none of that is by chance.
