Taylor Swift makes holiday donations to children’s charities
Swift also donated to Kansas City–based nonprofit Operation Breakthrough
Taylor Swift made several donations this holiday season to children-focused organizations in both Nashville and Kansas City.
The pop star recently contributed to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, including its Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Program.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center confirmed the donation on December 30. In a note, the organisation thanked Swift for supporting young patients and their families during the holiday season.
Hospital leaders said the timing of the gift was especially meaningful, as more families are seeking care and hospital stays can be particularly difficult at this time of year.
Another statement showed how Swift’s donation to the AYA Cancer Program will help personalised cancer care for adolescents and young adults.
Swift also donated to Kansas City–based nonprofit Operation Breakthrough, which supports children and families facing poverty through education, advocacy, and emergency aid.
The organisation shared its gratitude on Instagram, thanking Swift for supporting opportunities for its students.
Throughout December, Swift has also donated to several national organisations, including Feeding America, the American Heart Association, MusiCares, CMA Foundation, and ACM Lifting Lives.
The Grammy-winning singer spent Christmas Day in Kansas City supporting her fiancé, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs, where she also tipped stadium staff, including one worker who shared that Swift gave her $600.
