Eva Mendes has revealed a simple beauty trick she uses on Christmas morning.

The actress and the mom-of-two, 51, posted new photos on Instagram showing a natural look with lightly smudged eyeliner.

In the caption, Mendes joked about taking on “Santa Mama” duties as she got candid about being exhausted on Christmas Day.

She then revealed her approach to saving time during the hectic morning, confessing that she does her eye makeup the night before instead.

“I actually do my eye makeup on Christmas Eve since I know I will barely sleep that night,” she wrote, adding that it helps her wake up looking more put together.

Mendes ended the post by acknowledging parents who go out of their way to make the holidays special for their children, despite being tired or overwhelmed.

The actress, who rarely shares details about her family online, has spoken openly in recent interviews about how motherhood has reshaped her sense of identity.
