Shawn Levy makes BIG promise about 'Stranger Things' finale
Shawn Levy has made big promises about what 'Stranger Things' finale will deliver
Stranger Things finale will be everything fans hope for, per executive producer and director Shawn Levy.
The Deadpool & Wolverine director teased that fans will "get a lot" more information about Henry and Vecna in the last episode, which will hit Netflix on December 31st.
"You will get an even deeper understanding of Henry Creel and Vecna," Levy, 57, told People. "You will get outcomes."
He further dubbed the two-hour-long finale a "masterpiece," and teased "outcomes that are deeply satisfying, but many of which are completely surprising."
"I just want to assure all of the people around the world who have walked the long road with us for nearly a decade, this finale is what you've been waiting for," he promised.
"It is both informationally satisfying, but most importantly, profoundly emotionally satisfying," Levy added.
The director previously gushed about the finale, calling it "a finale that's as good as any TV series finale I've seen in my life."
Meanwhile, cast members revealed who cried the most during the table read for the finale, with Charlie Heaton telling Variety, "I was sitting in front of Noah and Finn [Wolfhard]. I assumed it might get emotional. But 20 minutes in — and we’re not even a third into the script — Noah is bawling his eyes out, like deep sobs. And then Finn was crying. That really set everyone off."
Fin admitted to the outlet that the read was embarrassing as he cried a lot.
"The whole thing is just crying. I was like, 'I’m not going to cry. I’m going to feel very normal, and it’s going to be great.' And then halfway through, I just started totally bawling my eyes out," he added.
