Thor leads 'Avengers: Doomsday' second teaser
It's expected that the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday' will have more than two teasers
Following the Steve Rogers, aka Captain America-centric teaser, Marvel drops a second Avengers: Doomsday teaser, focusing on another legacy character: Thor.
In the teaser, the Norse god is kneeling in the middle of the forest, saying, “Of all the crowns, the kingdoms, the pride, I ask for none. Father, hear your son. I am not worthy of life, yet I beg you to let the thread lengthen. Not for thunder, not for war…let me remain long enough to see my love once more.”
"Love" is a reference to a person of the same name, who Thor adopted in 2022's Thor: Love and Thunder.
However, his brother, Loki, was not seen in the teaser. Tom Hiddleston, who essays the character, will return in the forthcoming film.
Recently, he told GQ, "In order to become someone different, whose story had a different ending, he had to make peace with the things he did. It gave him the power of authorship over his own story."
While teasing his return, he said, "It is monumental. The centre of the story is absolutely brilliant, and was so surprising when I read it. It just has never been done before."
