Tom Hiddleston claims 'Avengers: Doomsday' will feature something 'never done before'
Tom Hiddleston talked about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and spilled some surprising details about reprising his character Loki.
In the upcoming Marvel film, the actor is set to reunite with his co-stars in the franchise for the first time since the end of Loki season two in 2023.
Hiddleston told GQ Hype recently, "In order to become someone different, whose story had a different ending, he had to make peace with the things he did. It gave him the power of authorship over his own story."
Teasing the upcoming plot twist, the actor claimed, "It is monumental. The centre of the story is absolutely brilliant, and was so surprising when I read it."
"It just has never been done before," he noted.
For those unaware, Avengers: Doomsday is set to centre upon the arrival of Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. Moreover, it will feature a multiverse crisis, resulting in the team-up of Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Wakandans.
Besides Tom Hiddleston, the film also stars Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Tom Holland as Spider-Man.
It is pertinent to mention that Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026.
