Cardi B claps back after being 'dragged' for time away from Stefon Diggs
The rapper said fans went ‘too mean’ after holiday controversy
Cardi B broke her silence over online criticism for spending Christmas separately from her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.
The 33-year-old rapper spent quality time this holiday season with her kids and newborn baby boy while the NFL player celebrated with his two children, whom he welcomed with his former partners.
Taking to her X account, she addressed the backlash in a video posted on December 29.
“Y'all need to calm down,” Cardi began. “Is y'all cool? Y'all been dragging me for three or four days. Y'all become and y'all been a little bit too mean. I can't change s***, I can't go back in time. I already had a baby.”
The Up rapper went on to say, “I don't know what y'all want me to do. We can only go forward now.”
Cardi also asked her fans to show support as she is all set to kick off her 2026 tour, which is going to keep her away from her kids.
“I'm already super stressed out,” she expressed her worry. “I need my support system, my fans, to love me. I want you to come to my tour and enjoy yourself with me. Don't be dragging me. It's enough.”
Despite the criticism, Cardi ended her statement with well wishes, saying, “I want good for y'all,” she concluded. “I want health, money, prosperity, happiness for this new year for y'all—wish me the same thing. All right, leave me alone though.”
It is pertinent to mention that Cardi shares her three kids, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 14 months
