Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz eyeing new scripts for collaboration: Source

Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez have not given up on their dream to collaborate yet.

Previously, reports suggested that the two stars were eager to follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon by forming a successful onscreen partnership of their own. 

Now, a new report from RadarOnline.com appears to back up that claim.

According to the outlet, Diaz and Lopez had an “unexpectedly positive experience” while filming What to Expect When You’re Expecting more than a decade ago, and that time together left a lasting impression on both actresses. 

Since then, they have quietly been on the lookout for fresh projects that could surpass the impact of their 2012 ensemble film.

“Cam and Jen are looking for scripts to star in together, and they know they can do something way bigger than Expecting, which made money but is hardly a classic,” an insider shared.

The source added that their chemistry remains a major driving force behind the search. 

“Plus, they just work great together onscreen, and everybody wants to see more of them together,” they concluded.
