Katy Perry becomes music guru for Justin Trudeau's son Xavier
Katy Perry is giving Xavier Trudeau 'the tough love he desperately needs'
Katy Perry has reportedly turned into a music guru for the son of her newfound love, Justin Trudeau.
Radar Online reported that the 41-year-old American singer-songwriter and TV personality is mentoring the 18-year-old Xavier Trudeau after his latest rap video flopped.
An insider told the outlet, "She told him she's been slammed many times before and knows how to survive it. She's smoothing rough edges – without crushing his confidence."
They went on to reveal that Perry, the mother of Daisy Dove Bloom, has already connected Xavier with record producers, who have asked him to share his creativity, and most importantly, they have told him to completely ignore people’s remarks.
Per the source, "She's not trying to take over. She's nudging. She's mentoring. And she's honest."
"Katy's giving him the tough love he desperately needs,” the insider quipped, referring to Xavier.
For those unaware, Justin shares his three children, Xavier, 16-year-old Ella-Grace Trudeau, and 11-year-old Hadrien Trudeau, with his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. The couple ended their marriage after 18 years in August 2023.
On the other hand, Perry, who was in a long relationship with Orlando Bloom and welcomed Daisy with him, parted ways with him in June or July of this year.
It is pertinent to mention that the Last Friday Night crooner and Justin went public with their romance towards the end of 2025.
