Kylie Minogue reveals terrible suffering while making new music
Kylie Minogue talked about the pain she was in when she was making new music
Kylie Minogue was left in tears as she suffered "really bad migraines" while making her Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) album.
The 57-year-old pop star returned to the studio to revamp her 2015 festive record Kylie Christmas and add four new tunes to the track list including new single XMAS but Kylie battled terrible headaches during the sessions.
She told NME.com: "When I listen to the songs now, it feels really good. It felt like Christmas, even if I was in the studio in tears sometimes because I was having really bad migraines!"
The songstress also went on to admit she would love to see her new track XMAS top the UK singles chart over the holidays to land her a Christmas number one.
She said: "It would be amazing, but I honestly did not think about that when we first went into this promo. I’ve been so focused on everything else, wrapping everything up and all the other mechanics, but now that we’re here…”
"It would be nice. But also, I’m cool with it regardless because it’s a very coveted spot and crazy things happen around Christmas, so I don’t think it is that predictable,” the Padam Padam hitmaker stated.
Kylie went on to reveal she's going to be having a "micro break" over the Christmas holidays and is hoping to return to the studio to work on more music in the new year.
"I’ve been thinking about it [making new music] just quietly, in the background. With these guys [who I am working with now], we always talk about: 'Oh, remember this one we started and we really didn’t get to finish it,’” she added.
"That discussion is always in the background, and I will have a micro break over Christmas and come back to it. Making music is my hobby and it’s a happy place for me, so I will,” Kylie Minogue concluded.
