Rob Reiner children speak out as their brother Nick faces murder charges
Rob Reiner's children react to their parent's death
Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner's children Jake and Romy have broken their silence after their parent's tragic death.
As their brother Nick Reiner faces murder charges, Jake and Romy issued a heartbreaking statement.
speaking to CBS News, the brother and sister duo said, "The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience. They weren't just our parents; they were our best friends."
They went on to add, "We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness, and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life."
Moreover, Jake and Romy asked for privacy and for their parents to be "remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave."
It is pertinent to mention that the statement came as their brother Nick Reiner made his appearance in Los Angeles Superior Court after being charged with murder of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.
In a surprising move, Nick waived his right to enter a plea. His attorney Alan Jackson told the judge it was "too early" to enter a plea and requested a continuance until January 7, 2026.
