It is being reported that Robert Irwin dodged death on Dancing with the Stars.
Radar Online reported that the 22-year-old Australian conservationist, TV personality, actor, and wildlife photographer had a close brush with death on Dancing with the Stars season 34 and his loved ones are forcing him to slow down and consider this incident as a wake-up call.
For those unaware, the backstory is that Robert mistakenly swallowed a piece of confetti after one of his high-intensity performances with partner Witney Carson.
After the horrifying incident, he confessed that he was lucky to stay alive, as his father, Steve Irwin, suddenly died after a fatal stab in his heart by a stingray in 2006.
Calling to mind the scary incident, Robert said, "I choked on a piece of confetti after the team dance. I went over to Witney, and I think they cut away, and I inhaled a piece of confetti. I couldn't breathe.”
Notably, after winning season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, talent bosses are looking forward to booking him for other TV projects but there are chances that the terrifying mishap might prefer taking a break.
Per the insider, "It might have seemed minor to people watching, but it was actually very serious when it happened. He was choking really badly."
"He's pushing himself way too hard,” the source concluded.
