Andrew faces emotional strain as Royal Lodge move nears: 'Really scared'
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor struggles to cope as pressure builds inside Royal Lodge
Former Prince Andrew is struggling inside Royal Lodge as he prepares to leave his grand mansion for a smaller place on the Sandringham estate.
According to Radar Online, people around the “disgraced” Duke of York say he now walks around the house looking lost and talking to himself.
An insider said that his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have been visiting more often because they’re worried about his declining mental health.
"He wanders from room to room talking to himself. You can see he feels everything tightening around him,” a house source revealed.
Speaking of Eugenie and Beatrice, a family friend said, "They're really scared about how he's coping. He hardly steps outside anymore, and they're trying everything to support him."
Staff at Royal Lodge revealed that the atmosphere in the house is tense as they begin sorting through rooms filled with old boxes with the move expected to take weeks to organise.
"It'll take weeks to sort through everything. Some rooms are piled with boxes that haven't been touched in years,” they said.
As for Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who shared the house with him despite their divorce, is said to be spending “hours tucked away in there.”
“She begs people to stick around so she isn't left on her own, and she's always fretting about the girls."
