Andrew Windsor is facing renewed pressure from US lawmakers, who say he is avoiding their request to speak with the House Oversight Committee about his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Radar Online, a letter signed by 16 members of Congress set a deadline for Andrew so that he would agree to a formal interview.

Now, committee sources told the publication that new financial documents mentioning him have raised further questions.

Adding to it, Congressman Suhas Subramanyam openly accused Andrew of “hiding” from investigators and believes he is hoping the matter will simply go away if he avoids it.

"It seems like every time we find more evidence, prince Andrew seems to be in the documents,” he said.

“And so I think if he is hoping that the story will just go away by ignoring us and being silent, he will be sorely disappointed, as we continue to pursue this over the next year and beyond."

Several congressional aides said they see “no chance” the “disgraced” former royal will return to the US voluntarily.

They argued he is keeping his distance because he cannot be forced to appear. "He knows Congress can't subpoena him abroad, so staying away is his only shield."

"There's a feeling he will die without ever stepping foot back in America,” added another. “That's how deep Andrew's fear of facing questioning in America appears to run."
