Meghan Markle mocked for her 'My Fair Lady' accent on Netflix
Meghan Markle's new Netflix episode is branded unfathomable by Royal expert
Meghan Markle is hilariously made fun of over her latest Netflix special.
The Duchess of Sussex, who is spotted spreading her charm on an hour long episode of ‘With Love, Meghan,’ ahead of Christmas, is branded ‘unfathomable.’
The Times’s Hilary Rose was highly critical of the episode, saying: “It’s unfathomable: four pointless crafts, three random ‘friends’, two unseen kids, one English prince and a duchess in a pear tree, or at least making pear syrup.”
She added: “I can only assume that the part where she puts on monogrammed red pyjamas and talks about quiche Lorraine in a My Fair Lady accent was a fever dream,” before adding: “We learn that red is a festive colour and that if you don’t like cheese or pepper, you might not like a dish consisting of cheese and pepper.”
Meanwhile, The Telegraph’s Arts and Entertainment Editor Anita Singh says: “Meghan, as ever, tries way too hard. The programme is quite mad and a little bit sad.”
Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
