Truth about Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's marriage state revealed
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced backlash over many recent moves
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry never let outside chatter get to them and remain aligned, per an insider.
The Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration has offered fans a sneak peek into the couple’s loving dynamic.
The Duke and Duchess even had a kiss in the new special, in which Meghan talked about making new holiday traditions. "Hopefully we have these for quite a long time. A tradition has to have a beginning," she said.
The couple’s holiday happiness comes after a series of moves that received backlash from the UK public and royal commentators.
In November, they attended Kris Jenner’s 70th-birthday party at Jeff Bezos’ mansion during Remebrence Weekend, a move slammed by Britons. However, the Duke of Sussex had carried out his Remebrance engagements days prior in Toronto and also wore a poppy to Kris’ birthday.
Meghan was then bashed for moving her Christmas special release to December 3, which is close to Princess Kate’s Christmas carol concert, after initially saying it would be released in November.
After that came her Harper’s Bazaar interview, which also drew backlash after the writer mentioned that Meghan was formally announced as "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex" even though the interviewer and the staff member who announced her were the only people there apart from Meghan.
Despite all that, Meghan and Harry are celebrating the holidays and paying no mind to it.
"It never creates friction between them," a source told People. "They’re fully aligned and always operate as a team. It never puts them at odds."
Meghan gushed over their dynamic during a podcast appearance in April, saying, "I always think about it like the end of Super Mario Bros. When you get to the final, final level and they go, 'Slay the dragon, save the princess.' I'm like, that's my husband. He's constantly going to do whatever he can to make sure that our family is safe and protected."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in 2018 and live in Montecito with kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
