Amy Schumer has finally addressed the rumors of her split from husband chef Chris Fischer.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Monday, the 44-year-old actress shared a brief update on her and Chris' relationship.
"Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism," Amy penned, who diagnosed with Cushing syndrome in early 2024.
"Fingers crossed we make it through," she added. "He's the best."
Rumors of Amy and Chris' separation made headlines weeks ago. However, the I Feel Pretty star shut down speculation on social media on November 6, by simply writing that she and the American chef were "still married."
Days later, People magazine reported that the pair was "privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have."
"They are both committed to the relationship," the insider shared.
In her post, Amy also fired back at those who criticized her recent 50-pound weight loss.
"Sorry for whatever feeling it's giving you that I lost that weight," wrote the comedian. "I've had plastic surgery over the years and I use monjouro."
"Sorry to anyone they lets down. I'm pain free," she added.
For those unversed, Amy and Chris tied the knot in February 2018, and the couple shares a 6-year-old son, Gene David, together.
