Suzanne Rogers opens up about leaving her long-running show 'Days of Our Lives'
Suzanne Rogers has no intention to leave Days of Our Lives.
For those unaware, the 82-year-old American actress has been playing the role of Maggie Horton since 1973.
Rogers attended Peacock’s Days of Our Lives 60th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, November 8, 2025, where she conversed with PEOPLE magazine and opened up about leaving the beloved role anytime soon, as it has been 52 years on the show.
Articulating her thoughts, she said, “Sixty is wonderful. I mean, not many shows can say that. I love it. It's my whole life and my home for a long time.”
The Never Say Never: The Deidre Hall Story star went on to talk about her future on the long-running show, quipping, “Oh, listen. If they say ‘bye,’ I’ll go – I had a good run,” and revealed that she might go to visit her sister in North Carolina after retirement.
Despite considering her retirement, Rogers clarified she is not going anywhere as long as she has an impact on things.
“I’m not going until they lock me out,” the Little House on the Prairie actor stated.
