Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh marked special visit to Ghana.
The official Instagram handle of the British Royal family updated on Prince Edward's latest royal engagement.
Alongside the video clip, featuring moments from Edward's Ghana visit, the detailed caption revealed, "This week, The Duke of Edinburgh has been in Ghana!"
The brother of King Charles joined children in kindergarten class "to see how they learn through play-based education" in Aburi.
Moreover, Edward visited Aburi Botanical Gardens where he was "presented with a traditional kente by the Chief of the Aburi region. He also heard about the cocoa industry in Ghana and planted a tree."
"At Jubilee House, HRH met The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency @OfficialJDMahama and traditional leaders," the caption revealed further.
During his visit, Prince Edward also met retired boxer Mr Azumah Nelson. The caption of the post concluded, "At the National Sports Stadium, HRH spent time with retired professional Boxer Mr Azumah ‘Zoom Zoom’ Nelson, para-boxers, junior tennis players, and joined in a game of Bowls."
While Prince Edward marked his solo visit to Ghana, his wife Duchess Sophie attended Rifles Awards dinner along with Queen Camilla.
