Matt Damon, Luciana Barroso's happy marriage 'secret' revealed
Reports claim Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso’s union became stronger due to their decision to work together
As the 20th wedding anniversary of Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso is approaching, the bond between them has never been stronger.
It is quite notable that the pair had several ups and downs during their marriage. But an insider credited working together as the reason the couple came closer.
She joined Artists Equity, which Matt and his friend Ben Affleck founded. "Lucy is becoming a full collaborator at Artists Equity,” the source tells Globe Magazine. “She’s learning on the job, to some extent, but it’s been good for their marriage.”
The idea to involve Luciana in the business was from Matt. “He knows how the game is played, and he’s teaching Lucy how to make things happen in the movie world.”
This fusion has washed away the troubles the couple allegedly faced during their marriage, the source claims. “It’s a refreshing change of pace from where they were a few years ago."
“Matt would go off for months at a time on projects, and Lucy was left home to do all the parenting on her own. He’s admitted that he felt guilty about that over the years,” the insider shares.
Alongside this, the former bartender worked as a producer on 2024’s The Instigators and the forthcoming movie The Rip, starring Matt.
It is worth noting that Matt and Luciana tied the knot in 2005. The pair shares four children.
