Sarah Ferguson pulls back as Andrew’s troubles weigh on Beatrice, Eugenie
Experts claim Royal Lodge eviction leaves Sarah Ferguson, former Prince Andrew divided
Sarah Ferguson is reportedly stepping back from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as his Jeffrey Epstein scandal forces major changes in their lives.
According to royal experts, the strain of the former couple’s past ties to the convicted sex offender have finally taken a toll on their long-standing partnership.
Speaking with Fox News Digital, royal expert Hilary Fordwich claimed Fergie has been telling those around her that she no longer has confidence in Andrew.
"Sarah has made it well-known among her staff and others that she no longer believes in Andrew and is prepared to go her own way after years of loyalty and public defence,” she said.
Meanwhile, Helena Chard said the loss of their home and royal protection has left her worried about how the situation may affect Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
"Her nerves are frayed. She is shaken to the core by the loss of her royal safety net," added Chard.
She continued, "She fears further humiliation and worries that the serious allegations will affect her girls' standing."
Sharing further details of the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s strained relationship, Fordwich said, "While Sarah and Andrew are currently both still residing in Windsor, they are reportedly sleeping at different ends of the sprawling Royal Lodge.”
"They do get together to discuss their respective uncertain futures. While their relationship has long been described as unusually close for divorced exes - cohabiting and supporting each other through public crises - there is now a real rupture."
